A brand film should pay for itself

Shoot once, cut for every screen. How to plan a film that keeps working long after the premiere.
Most brand films get one big moment: a launch post, a premiere, a few thousand views. Then they sit on the website, beautiful and idle.
It doesn't have to work that way. With the right plan, the same shoot produces the film, the ads and a month of social content.
Write for the cut-down first
Before we storyboard the hero film, we list every placement it needs to serve: a six-second bumper, a fifteen-second story ad, a thirty-second feed ad, a square still. Each scene is designed to stand alone.
Shoot the coverage
- Every key moment in vertical and horizontal.
- Close-ups that can open an ad.
- Clean product shots for performance creative.
- Behind-the-scenes for social.
A film that only works at full length is a film that only works once.
Planned this way, a brand film stops being a cost and starts being a library. That is the difference between a nice piece of work and an investment.
